Last week in our social groups we focused on how one needs to be a good gift giver as well as a good receiver.
We encouraged everyone to make others have good thoughts about us by showing our appreciation for others taking the time and using their resources to get us gifts.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the videos we showed them regarding how to “social fake” as well as understanding others perspectives when giving or getting gifts.
Ugly Christmas sweater pictures were also a hit!
We talked about it is never a good thing to lie. So if you do not like something you get, please find something positive you can say about it. Be it the color or that you do not have one. Something that should make others feel good.
We also talked about the fact that gifts do not have to be purchased at a store or with money. Offering to help others out or to give them a hug can be priceless gifts.
