We had a great time and turnout at The Main Event! What a great opportunity to practice working on our social thinking skills. From working on how to cheer on others, tease each other nicely, being patient as well as handling success and failure. All of these skills are important for every middle schooler and high school student. They are also life skills. Let’s keep presenting our teens with opportunities to master social interactions. When they do, they will feel more confident and hopefully want to engage and hang out with others even more. I look forward to seeing all of my social friends at our weekly group as well as our next big outing which will be August 1 where we will be going to an escape room in Alpharetta (click here for more info on that) and hope we can get off of the Titanic before it sinks 🙂
